When I saw this post ad curlybabe 's satisfaction blog...I decided ad once that I must try this for my lil one.Its taste like carrot pilaf rice and goes well with any spicy gravies.And  my son  just love this and of course me too!

Here what you need,

Basmathi rice- 2 cups
Carrot ,grated - 1 cup
Green chilies- 1,deseeded and chopped finely
Tomato -1 sliced
Onion- 1 sliced
Ginger- 1cm ,peeled skin and minced
Garlic-2 pods ,minced
Cumin seeds powder- 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon stick -1
Cardomam- 2
Bayleaf-1
Cloves- 3
Ghee- 1 tbsp
Corn/vegetable oil- 1  1/2tbsp
Salt as taste


How I cook,

Wash rice and soak for 40 minutes.Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil and ghee in pan, add cinnamon,cloves,cardomam and bayleaf.Then add green chilies,chopped onion,ginger,garlic,saute till oil turn on surface.Then add grated carrot ,saute for few minutes.Now add tomato,cumin seeds powder and salt.Mix all together and add some water.Once its boiled ,add rice and cook till rice is cook.,Serve along with spicy gravy.
