<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Kuih keria is another popular snack make out of sweet potato also known Malaysian donuts This donuts is much easier than the yeast donuts.I make mini size donuts than the normal as prefer by my little one...so you can try making the size for one you prefer. It would be perfect for any occasion and sure for tea party too...I remember that last time I tried, I got watery sweet potatoes,I kept adding flour to hold it into shape which result the donuts to turn out hard and I throw all the batch to bin. So make you drain well in you boil.The other safe way is steam, remove skin , cut into cubes and steam.</span><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I used orange sweet potato.</span><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><b>You need,</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Sweet potatoes,orange/yellow-500 gm,</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Plain flour -1/2 cup</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Salt a pinch</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Oil as require for deep frying</span></li>
</ul>
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><b>Sugar Coating,</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Sugar- 3 tbsp, I used brown sugar</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Water-2 tbsp</span></li>
</ul>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><b>How I Make,</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><b><br /></b></span>
<span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"><b>Remove</b> skin,<b>diced</b> or cut into small pieces<b>,steam</b> until soft and then mash and let it cool completely.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><b>Mix</b> the mashed potato and flour to form firm dough.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Scrub your palm with oil,<b> take </b>20<b> </b>gm dough shape into balls.Flatten using palm and make hole in the middle.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Heat oil in pan,<b> fry</b> the donuts till golden brown.Dish out and drain on the paper tissue.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Meanwhile,</span><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"><b>Cook</b> sugar and water until the syrup is thicken and bubbles build.</span><br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Now <b>drop</b> the donuts into sugar syrup and<b> keep stirring</b> till all the don't is well coated and crystal sugar build up eventually.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Dish out and serve warm..</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><b>P/S</b>- Just use enough flour to bind the dough ,more flour will make the donuts hard n un chew able.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">If the dough mixture is not moist ,add a tbsp of water.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Amount of water and flour are adjustable according the type of the sweet potatoes.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">When use white sugar,you able to see the white crystal sugar coating the donuts.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
